A seven-member investigation commission has been established to probe the tragic 2009 BDR carnage at Pilkhana. The announcement was made on Monday (December 23) during the BGB Day medal ceremony at the Border Guard Bangladesh headquarters in Dhaka by Interior Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.
The commission, led by former BDR Director General A.L.M. Fazlur Rahman, includes two military officials, faculty members from Dhaka and Jagannath universities, a senior civil service officer, and a senior police official.
